It's a great body, my go to camera for wildlife in good light; so fast and awesome focus ability. However, I find it to be noisy with anything over iso400.

I do like it, but you are right about the noise. I'm too used to a full frame, but I LOVE having the crop so that I can actually SEE the smaller birds easier.

For a few reasons: These birds were way too close for the 100-400mm lens :) - they were too close for THIS lens - and it was raining - the 70-200 F4 is more water resistant. Only down side is that I forgot the lens hood for this one, so the rain drops would easily get on the glass.
