Creep by mydigitalmind Creep by mydigitalmind
These guys don't stop moving. I always have such a hard time getting a decent photo. This Brown Creeper would climb up the tree, then onto the ground and back to the tree. I never saw one on the ground until now. I think he likes the moss... or what's in it.

Thanks! I've been trying to get my new local Creepers with NO luck. They are too fast!

Next to impossible to get decent shots since they never stay still is an understatement! All things considered, this is a terrific capture.

I had the same problem with them... they kept jumping and flying all over and moving.  my Point and shoot camera is not fast enough to focus on it before it move on.

Nice catch! Those small birds are always hopping around and it's amazing how you've managed to capture one in such a detailed close-up cadre. Also, nice composition and colors. Very harmonious picture.

Creeper!
They like to hang out on the ground here too. They forage around in the pine cones and happen to find something. I haven't been able to tell if it's a seed or a tiny insect yet.

I did catch him under my feeders stealing some seed too. I'm also wondering if they were picking at the moss (under the tree) to add to a nest. Every other bird seems to be doing that! This is why I don't mind moss in place of grass under my trees :D
