After some backyard birdwatching, I went into the trail to see if I could catch a glimpse of the foxes that live not too far in the woods. Two of them were out - I slowly walked closer to where they were sniffing around and snapped away first at the larger fox, then at this little guy. After some shots, they spotted me which made for some great eye-contact shots.
Even though this is cropped, it's still the closest I got to them so far. Please excuse the brush in front of it's hind legs!
Lesson learned: Even if I'm in the woods for a few minutes, use bug spray! I got eaten alive for these shots!
