You probably won't appreciate this very common bird until you stop and look at the beautiful iridescent colors on his feathers.
I'd like this shot better if the tail wasn't cut off by a branch but when I tried to get a better angle, he flew away. It's tough to sneak up on these birds - they fly away so quickly. It's best to just wait for them to come to you.
