I have a family of Kingfishers who are constantly fishing and chattering around my creek. They are tough to get close to, but now and then they are more trusting.

These guys are neat to watch, especially when they hover in the air before diving into the water and coming up with a fish. Great capture! =D

Hehe. I've seen them at noon before!! We could have seen lots more in the morning, but those Owls were calling us...
I actually didn't see or hear the Kingfishers tonight either. But I had loads of Waxwings!
