Description
I always find myself without a camera when I spot a hawk. My time has finally come! I spotted this hawk while taking photos of smaller birds. He was not shy at all, but I stayed far enough away to not disturb his hunting attempts. He made several swoops at squirrels with no luck.
My first wild raptor - and the opportunity presented many keep-sake photos with great lighting (right before the sun went down)
