My trip to Costa Rica ended in an area that is known for having many Quetzals. This photo is from an early morning tour where we were lucky to see two pairs of this beautiful bird up close. I returned the next day for an even closer view. As I was going back to the lodge to pack for the airport, another Quetzal flew over my head into an avocado tree behind our room. What a great way to end the perfect vacation.

One: i love this bird. Two: where did you take this picture? and Three: Is it worth it? this is a beautiful picture of this quetzal bird; stood very still and looks like a portrait of some kind of royal bird. superb quality and quality of light and position in what you took the picture. the green of the feathers stand out in this picture and retains this innocence and tranquility that every animal possess but rarely seen in birds, which this picture captures that ideal.even though people take people use this bird in art, it's still a wonderful portrait. frankly in two words: it's adorable!!! truly cute and perfect; love it to pieces!!!! good work
Increible..! Te felicito...por la suerte y el pulso. Yo tuve un momoto como a 50m de distancia y ninguna de las fotos las pude enfocar, era tal la impresión, pues nunca había visto uno.
