the composition of the image is splendid (even to the triangle structure created by the color in the lone flower to the beak and back feathers of the bird
she displays the natural world this little bird lives in by giving the bird's environment almost as much priority as the humming bird itself - and lets us see just how little these guys are
her signature does not distract from the image as so many watermark/sigs do and the clarity and attitude of the subject is stunning - very typical of these little guys - grumpy
since i don't believe in perfection i left one star off the vision rating system - but honestly - if there were such a thing as a perfect image i think this one would qualify - hands down
but then - i'm kind of partial to hummingbirds
