One of a hundred Pine Siskins who visited my yard for a couple of days. *SageKorppi and *windfalcon were with me for this shot. The birds were putting on a great show for us!

I agree! I wish they would come back, I only get one or two now =\ Though it's nice not going through bags of seed!

I'm hoping that I get them too! Evening Grosbeaks are in my area, but none have visited me yet. Pines are much more rare for us, so I would love to have them!!!

I am surprised that they have stuck around so long as they are quite nomadic. The Evening Grosbeaks were here for just a quick pit stop. We also get Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks.

I do get Rose-breasted, so I'm hoping the others find their way. Even if it's just for one day!

We get these little guys in our backyard in NJ for a week or two every couple of years. Last time was in 2008. They completely take over the yard and they're not scared of people. You have to tip-toe across the yard so you don't step on them! :)
