I wonder who will blink first... I don't submit much of my bird feeder photography (this actually might be the first), but I thought this was a fun shot to show.
The Downy Woodpecker is a frequent visitor to my feeder. I also now get Hairy Woodpeckers. At first sight, you can easily confuse the two species - Downy Woodpeckers are smaller and have a shorter beak.
