I finally had my first Redpoll visitors - over two dozen of them. Unfortunately, they spooked easily when Starlings came to the feeders and did not return except for a couple later on. I'm hoping they end up staying because everyone else around me has high numbers of these beautiful little birds!

Thank you so much! Mine differs day-to-day. I had up to 80 of them at one point, but today only had a handful. And of course today I got my best shots!!
Wow!! 300! I counted 46 today. I didn't have my thistle feeder out until this morning, as it was broken and I had to get really creative to repair it. Before, I had about 18 coming for the black oil sunflower, but now they are emptying my 5lb thistle feeder in a day! It's both exciting and horrifying (given the cost of thistle), hah!
Yeah, that is insane. Mine don't stay that long. I had up to 80, but they would fly away to the smallest sound. I guess it's OK since I'm not draining out of seed, but I love having them!
I have seen only a few of these so far.
