Oriole

The bird seems to pop out of the picture, due to the choice of depth of field and contrasting colors. The seamless, soft colored background is very pleasing to the eyes and it is far enough to permit very nice defocusing.
The light is soft and very becoming, providing just enough contrast and no intruding shadows. Very nice catch light that gives the subject an "alive" look.
The perch is proportional to the size of the bird and its diagonal placement makes is a strong compositional element.
If this image were mine, I would crop a sliver off the bottom to get rid of the partial branch sticking out and merging with the border.
In general, a very pleasing, well presented image.
